Children's Ministry

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14) The Bible clearly teaches that God loves children and He is concerned with their welfare. It is His desire that they would grow in the grace and knowledge of Him. We are committed to helping families grow in their knowledge of the Lord by providing the direction, encouragement, tools and help for parents in their role of raising their children for Jesus. The position of Calvary Chapel is to assist parents in raising their children in the Lord not to replace them.

Marriage Ministry

The Marriage Ministry at Calvary Chapel Fargo has established times to gather for fellowship with other married couples; sharing time with each other concerning the difficulties, successes and blessing of being married and how to live out the Bible in our personal lives. This is led by Pastor Seth and Tanya. Open to all those who attend Calvary Chapel Fargo. Join us for Food, Fellowship, Prayer and Growth in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ relating to marriage.

Men's Ministry

Men’s Ministry is starting a new chapter ministering to the men of Calvary Chapel Fargo; building upon the foundation of being men that pray and men that serve. The desire and therefore goal is that every man is to be a “Strong Man” taken from Proverbs 24. Knowing that a man is to be strengthened spiritually and physically as well as strengthened in character, we have established a plan to do just that.

World missions has been a part of the vision of the ministry for Calvary Chapel Fargo from the beginning. We first began by supporting a missionary with Gospel for Asia. Then as the church grew and our ability to support also grew we have expanded our efforts to reach our “uttermost” parts of the world.

Nehemiah Homes

Calvary Chapel Fargo has been given the vision to reach the Fargo/Moorhead area by rebuilding the broken down “spiritual walls” through Nehemiah Homes. Each Nehemiah Home would host one night each week for one hour of prayer and Bible reading.

Each summer we engage in “outreach” ministries designed to bring the love and the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ unto the world that God loves. We have a natural season to labor in this endeavor; as Fargo thaws each spring and the residents of the Fargo/Moorhead area no longer dwell in the “deep freeze”, they tend to enjoy life outdoors. We “go to work” for our Lord in His fields, to borrow from one of His parables, where we seek to find those who do not yet have Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This occurs weekly at various times both individually and as a church.

Here at Calvary Chapel Fargo we desire to be continually given to prayer. By the giving of the Holy Spirit into the hearts and lives of each believer, we pray. Certainly prayer is offered up individually and spontaneously as we have need and when we gather together for service and fellowship, but we also structure time set aside to have the church gather and seek God together in prayer.

Women's Ministry

The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands. Proverbs 14:1
Our desire at Calvary Chapel Fargo for Women’s Ministry is to reach the women in the Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding areas with the Word of God. To teach each woman how to be a godly example in the home, work, and the community. To mend the areas of each woman’s heart where they have been hurt and allow Jesus Christ to do the work in their life. To send each woman out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people they will come in contact with, to reach a dying and lost world.
